This project showcases an automotive CGI visualization and compositing case study for the VW Golf, developed with a dedicated focus on high-fidelity asset integration and photorealistic art direction. The work covers detailed exterior views and full cabin interior shots comped with real location photographs.
The execution relies on a hybrid pipeline that integrates 3D digital assets directly into real-world location photography. Utilizing high-resolution backplate images sourced from Maground, the vehicle asset was aligned, lit, and composited within Cinema 4D and rendered using Redshift. The final outputs deliver a clean, unified visual system built for commercial advertising, ensuring realism, accurate material finishes, and consistent lighting between the CGI elements and the photographic plates.
